To All of Our Classmates:
Once again, we recently celebrated another fantastic opportunity to come together and rekindle old friendships and start some new ones. This was the 45th
reunion of Kimball High School's Class of 1966 – the Last Great Class of Kimball!!!!
Class Reunions are all about remembering. And what spectacular memories we, as a class, had to share — and to bond us together once again, if only for a few
brief hours.
Now that 45 years have passed, and it's the year 2011, it's not just the songs that are the golden oldies - now we are the golden oldies. We were once the great
Class of '66, but now — even though we're still the coolest — we have become a class of "pushing 65."
The 45th Reunion was a night of nights to enjoy and remember for the golden years ahead. We were glad for those of you could join us, and look forward to seeing you again at
our 50th high school Reunion. I appreciate all of the hard work the Reunion Planning Committee did the past 3 years in planning and organizing this reunion, to
make it one of the most memorable reunions in our lives. And I think we succeeded.
My hope for you is that you stay forever young. May we keep in mind that there are miles and miles we can still go before we sleep. Let us begin the new journey
with this 45th reunion. We've gone through the requisite testing period and the horizon still looms ahead, beckoning tomorrows of fulfillment and greater
joy. It is time to celebrate all the living we still have left to do and commit ourselves to making positive changes, small and large, for the years people call
golden because they truly can be the best years of our lives.
From the entire Reunion Committee, we hope to see you at one of our various KHS Parties - like the great Christmas Party we just had at the Granada Theater that is pictured here plus on the "Photos" tab - and for sure at
our upcoming 50th Reunion. Merry Christmas to all KHS 66ers and a happy, blessed New Year.
